Easily and quickly export your Internet orders to QuickBooks  The QuickBooks® Add-On gives you the ability to quickly and easily export order and customer information in an organized, time-saving manner. With a few clicks, you will be able to select which orders to export and create a QuickBooks data file to be imported into the popular accounting package published by Intuit.
By allowing you to import the Chart of Accounts, Item List and Customer List from your QuickBooks company file, the QuickBooks Add-on can help you synchronize product and customer information between your online store and your accounting package, thus ensuring that order data is correctly assigned to the proper accounts when exported from ProductCart and imported into QuickBooks.
When designing this Add-on, we took into account a variety of scenarios based on whether you have a new or existing ProductCart store, and a new or existing QuickBooks company file. Depending on your scenario, a user-friendly Setup Wizard will guide you through a series of configuration steps.
- Import and synchronize your item list (products and services setup in your QuickBooks file) with your store catalog. Or export product information from ProductCart to create a new item list in QuickBooks.
- Import and synchronize selected QuickBooks accounts such as discounts, shipping and handling charges, taxes, etc.
- Import and synchronize customer information so that orders placed by those customers are assigned to the corresponding customer account in QuickBooks when the orders are exported from ProductCart.
- Automatically assign orders placed by customers that have not been synchronized to a generic customer account (e.g. online sales). This is often the case for online stores who do not wish to create a new customer account in their accounting file for every customer that places an order on their Internet store.
- Export orders and import them as invoices or sales receipts.
- Export only new orders (orders that have not yet been exported).
- Export any orders within a given date range.
- Add selected order information to the "Memo" area of a QuickBooks invoice.
The QuickBooks Add-On can be easily added to any store running ProductCart v2 and above. A beta test program for this Add-on is currently under way. The software will be available for sale in June of 2005.
